The Training Center

Hands-On Training

Our apprentices learn in our 8,000 square foot, state-of-the-art training center outfitted with the latest technology. You’ll receive hands-on training that replicates situations you’ll find on the jobsite; a job market advantage!

Training Center

Upon earning journeyman status, you’ll have the opportunity to take a variety of continuing education classes that will keep you up-to-date on the latest technological advances in the industry. In addition, our training center is a great place to learn and network with your union brothers and sisters.

Program Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Passed one year of high school algebra or postsecondary algebra.
  • Official high school transcript or GED scores.
  • Be physically fit to perform normal job duties.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.

In order to become a LightingTheQCA.com licensed electrical contractor, our team members undergo hours of training and development to not only understand the National Electrical Code and National Electrical Installation Standards, but to receive a license.
